One of the best things that you could ever have done, Vaibhav - create this blog...

My Hats off to DJ - the madness that personifies him, for his passion, for his unsurpassable wild streak(ouch, not streak - that’s ALL of him that’s wild- he probably has just a few streaks of boring homo sapienism in him)....

For introducing me to some of the most amazing perspectives in life, some exasperating objectivity and of course, u guys - Shilpa, Mona, Vaibhav...

For just being the wonderful person that he is.

There is a lot that I owe to DJ - I don’t think I can manage to list them all here.

A rock star, a fantastic cook , a visionary, a livewire, a bundle
of energy, a man of principles & integrity, passionate about wild life,a fine photographer, a man with perspectives & at the risk of
repetition -the last man standing -That's DJ - Born to be wild !

The only person i know who can sing “We didnt start the fire” down to every syllable. Who can sing a Harry Belafonte, a Doors, a Dire Straits & an old hindi song ( from the times when i wasnt born)
with equal finesse & passion at any given hour !
Who will never say no to that last jive after a full night of karaoke!

An instinctive cook as he likes to call himself... "Kid just throw in whatever comes your way" is what i've been told all the times i stood in the kitchen while he cooked for all of us - Meera, Mona, Vaibhav & me. An invariable routine that has us all
polishing the plates ( and me stealing bites while it was half way !)
What strikes me as the best part is not the elaborate menu -
It's the affection that goes into the preparation. Whether
it's standing for hours in the kitched with a back sprain or the
extra round to the market - "kid likes capsicum & Khlank will
enjoy the carrot salad "
(confession: I had to really go look up the thesaurus for newer words for delicious…one
Couldnt go on with “This is awesome food DJ“!)

" The jungle is where my soul is "..if that doesnt sum up his passionfor wild life nothing does. It's not just saying it.. what
sets him apart is his quest to know the great beyond.. to know
more and more..endlessly. He can rattle off the name
of almost every bird that exists..that's just one of the things besides NEVER getting bored of Animal planet or Nat Geo !
( With so much of animal planet soaked in, i now skip channel 42 on any tv i might be watching !!! )

Above all one of the finest human being i have known in my existence. A man with values & tremendous respect for humanity. No questions asked, it's unconditional affection. If bringing joy to others was an occupationi think he'd be a billionare !!!
( i have often said this to you DJ, to reaffirm here... You're one of the only 2 people i know who are non judgemental)

I've known him for over 4 years & i have learnt that how much ever you might have glutted, if you havent finished the food "you havent done justice to it"
... kidding !! ( Meera, Mona, Vaibhav..stop smirking :-)

Thankyou DJ, for being YOU. For introducing me to Meera & Peter. For the perspectives. For being there ..irrationally. Ground Zero & the fourth dimension theory will always remind me of You.

For those of you who might just be reading this..Life is a set of circumstances & every one's got to be happy !

Phew….Meera, i agree with you... madness would have been easier to describe !!!
